At St. John Vianney Parish Outreach, it is our mission to be the hands of Christ in our community by serving others. With hands ready to work, hearts ready to love, and faith made visible through action, we joyfully seek to aid and strengthen our brothers and sisters who find themselves in need. Parish Outreach seeks to embody compassion through our Christian Service, Food Pantry, and Genesis House. We invite families and individuals currently encountering challenging times to contact Parish Outreach, so that we may offer our support.

Parish Outreach offers the following services to the community

Outreach Food Pantry

The Food Pantry is located behind the Church and next to Dolan Hall.
​We operate on the front line serving over 570 families on a weekly basis.​ Food is distributed every Saturday on a first come basis, please bring a cart and your own bags to make it easier to carry your items.

Christian Service

The Christian Service ministry provides financial aid to individuals that qualify. Please visit the Corpus Christi Office ​or contact Kelly Choi at 626-330-2269 to apply for this service.

    How can I Help?   ​Sign-Up to Volunteer at the Food Pantry

    ​The Outreach Food Pantry serves over 570 families on a weekly basis by distributing food to those in need.
    You can Help us with Prepackaging on Thurs & Fri from 9am to 12pm and with the ​Food Distribution on Saturdays from 6:30am to 10am. ​To volunteer please submit the form below or contact Kelly Choi at (626) 330-2269.

How else can I Help?   Donate Food to the Outreach Pantry

It has been our tradition at St. John Vianney to collect food donations for the Food Pantry at Thanksgiving. We are indebted to the parishioners for their years of support. The greatest needs are for fresh & healthy food items. We are asking that all PLEASE donate what you can from the list below and bring your donations directly to the Food Pantry.
